Gilbert Homes since 1987?
Gilbert Real Estate since 1987
If you are looking for Gilbert Real Estate, we can help! I live in Gilbert, Arizona and I know Gilbert Real Estate like the back of my hand. Gilbert has some great features. The city itself is an awesome little town. I think I posted in a previous post how my husband grew up in Tempe and Gilbert was considered farmland when he was a kid. Of course, I may be dating myself here, he said Rural Road was a dirt road when he was a kid! That tells you how long ago it was.
When I moved here in 1987, I lived in Phoenix off of 20th Street and Camelback. I loved the Biltmore area. My sister lived in Gilbert, Arizona. I didn't even know where that was when she first moved there and it seemed like the drive was forever to get there. Now I know it really wasn't that far and the city itself was small. Where she used to live is right across from my real estate office in the older part of Gilbert. The stores she used to shop in are nearly all gone.
In 2005 when I started to sell real estate in Arizona, I sold my first home in Gilbert. Gilbert Real Estate was in high demand back then and it continues to be in high demand today. Gilbert is an awesome town with plenty to do and a great little downtown area. The Town of Gilbert has an awesome website that gives you all the information you need to know. From utilities to trash pickup to politics and more, this website is packed with information about Gilbert Arizona.
I live on a horse property in Gilbert. There are pockets of horse property in the middle of the city. These are Maricopa County Islands. The city of Gilbert grew around them and created islands owned and governed by the County.
This week I saw surveyors on my Street and I asked them what they were doing. They said they were getting ready to add cable and Internet. That is something to know as many of the County Islands don't have cable such as Cox.net and other services. We had to get Direct TV and Satellite Internet at our home. Everyone around us has these services and yet because we live in a Gilbert County Island, we don't have them.
Gilbert recently annexed our property and changed our address. The other cool thing about Gilbert and Gilbert Real Estate is the fact that they have a curbside pickup for junk and trash once a month. This means if you have horse property and of course other real estate and types of property too, it is big with horse property in Gilbert to be able to put your trash and junk out on the curb. If you have old broken furniture or you trim your trees, you simply put it on your curb and the Town of Gilbert comes and picks it up for you an no additional charge.
I think Gilbert Real Estate is awesome because they really keep Gilbert clean and some towns are not this clean. It is one of the reasons I live here.
